VENICE IS A MEMBER OF THE ITF CORPORATE BOARD
The Port of Venice is the first port in the world to be invited by the Secretary General of ITF José Viegas to be part of the Corporate Partnership Board (CPB) of the International Transport Forum. It is am excellence committee composed of about 25 companies ad Google, IMB, Esso, Cosco (shipping company), CCC (China Construction Company), SNCF (France), Volvo, Nissan, Michelin and other partners working in the field of transport, energy and finance with clear growth prospects and with the aim to contribute to the strategy of emission reduction Cop21 creating efficient transport systems.

The goal of the board is to create a platform to stimulate a high-level discussion with relevant parties belonging to the transport sector to seek innovative solutions together to be replicated around the world for the benefit of the community. The port of Venice is proud to contribute to the debate on the future of transports and ports” said Chairman Paolo Costa signing the” Memorandum of Understanding “which establishes the access of the airport of Venice in the Board.
